One more scary fact that before the film’s release more creepy things started to surface like Jack McGown(played Bruke died of flu and Vasiliki Maliaros (played Karras mother) too died after the film.

This movie was based on the haunted Hotel on Estes Park, Colorado. The kitchen staff in the hotel said that they heard a party by when the staff went there, no one was in the ballroom..

It is considered as the greatest horror movie of America. This was produced in 1968 by the Polish director Roman Polanski. The story of this movie revolves around a woman whose body is changing continuously.

One of the spine chilling fact about this movie, it is said to be cursed. One year after opening the wife of the director Roman Polanski, Sharon Tate was murdered. One of the main composers of the film, Kryzsztof Komeda died in a horrifying accident.

The conjuring is a 2013, American supernatural horror film, it is directed by James Wan. The sequel Conjuring 2 is also made in year 2016. The main characters are paranormal investigators and the authors that look for haunted investigations

But this movie has some really creepy facts, this movie is shot in Wilmington and it is said that this place is actually haunted. Crew members during shooting of the film; have seen the paranormal activities like the objects moving and strange sounds when no one was around.

One of the crew members, Vera stated that she wakes up daily during same time period and at this time the main witch character of the film died … Goose bumps already..

  • Nosferatu (1922)

A German expressionless horror film released in 1922 is an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stocker Dracula and when it was released it had exceptional good reviews. It was based on the novel by Bram Stocker but the rights were not taken from his widow. When the film was released she sued and the court ordered the copies of film to be destroyed. Fortunately, the film was already released saving the few copies. It was ranked 21st in Empire magazines, “The 100 best films of Cinema World “of the film world.

The real charm of Nosferatu , is that it doesn’t scare but it haunts and there lies the real horror.

One of the creepy facts of the film is that the main character of the film that played the vampire Count Orlok, had a spooky name Friedrich Gustav MaximillanMax Schreck, last name meaning is terror .Very little is known about this actor. The actor is supposed to be a loner and had an unusual sense of humor – grotesque.

Some say he was a real VAMPIRE due to his mysterious appearance and impeccable performance as vampire.

It is an all-time horror film in the America‘s history of Horror. This film was directed by Sam Raimi, the plot of the movie is focused around the five college students holidaying in a remote area. The main attraction is the cabin, an isolated cabin which they chose for vacationing.

Evil Dead was a huge success in the world and some spooky facts associated with this movie is that the script required the actors to smoke marijuana for real and they did that but it has to be reshoot as the behavior of actors went uncontrollable.

The original cabin where the whole movie is based is in Morristown, Tennessee, USA, the cabin is more or less destroyed during the filming and only structure remaining is a stone chimney.

It is a 1982 American Horror film directed by Toobe Hooper. The movie is based around Californian family who is visited by malevolent ghosts and later they abduct their youngest daughter. The movie was a commercial success and highest grossing movie of 1982.

Some spine chilling facts of Poltergeist are that, 80s were the weird times and people have creepy choices too. The real human skeleton was cheaper than the plastic one so the director Toobe Hooper decided to get heap of real skeletons.

In one scene JoBeth Williams, smuggling around a muddy pool and the REAL skeletons rained like anything, this lead to a speculation that the set is CURSED as so many people died during the production of film.

It is a supernatural horror film which was produced in 1976.It was directed by Brian De Palma and while it was released it was said to be one of the best movies of 1976.

This movie has some creepy facts like the actress Sissy Spacek who played Carrie in this movie. The movie has malicious group of students who make fun of Carrie they pour bucket of BLOOD on her.

During the shooting, Sisky preferred to have real blood as prior to this crew used karo syrup and food colouring but that stick to her due to heat. Sissy preferred to have real blood and stayed in the clothes for 3 days to continue the scene… Creepy as it sounds. And this shoot took 2 weeks to complete.
