5 Most Haunted Places in Delhi

Mirza Galib once  said “I asked my soul what is Delhi. She said,” The world is the body and Delhi is my soul.Every place has a past and a past which was haunted and still is. They called it City of Djinns and Aatama.
Strangely Delhi is at epitome of paranormal activities and certain places in the city have the higher vibrations of these activities. Even if you have proclivity for these kinds of places then here’s the list but don’t adventure out alone.

  1. Delhi Cantonment

A middle aged woman will ask you, for a lift at the middle of the night and to help her you will offer her lift. But what you see, she comfortably pacing with your vehicle. You will be freaked out completely and possibly won’t be able to sleep for few weeks.

Then you will realise this is ghost of that female. People say that long time back a woman was killed while hitchhiking and her ghost still roams at Delhi Cantonment during midnight.

  1. Dwarka Sec-9 Metro Station

Many commuters have seen a figure of female at night and that is when they enter the metro station suddenly they are infested with barrage of energy. Though there is no scientific evidence and the activities have taken place during night and it is widespread speculation that these places have full of spirits during night-time.

  1. Sanjay Van (the haunted woods)

This place is popularly known as the lung of the city, it is about 10 km of the stretch and this place is also haunted and scary. There are numerous mausoleums of Sufi saints and that energy is teeming up for the paranormal activities of the place.

  1. Khooni Nadi (Rohini)

The sub city is 30 year old and is considered as the residential city. But you know this has a haunted place. There is a canal that sucks you in and that is why the name is given. It is the Bermuda triangle of the Delhi.

  1. The Ridge

No doubt that this place is the haunted place in Delhi and also it has series of events that is proof of that this place is haunted. People say that they have seen a man from Colonial British Era hovering around here during nightmare. That’s creepy indeed.

I won’t say for exploring alone and would strongly suggest that wait for my next series of haunted places…….
