7 trends you will be wearing in summer, 2018

Summer can be a challenging season to dress for many women. You reveal more about yourself and your body than in any other season and have fewer layering tricks at your disposal to either cover up certain parts or create a nice silhouette. It’s also harder to create a ‘new’ look every day so here are the seven trends you will love.

1. Pastel Colors

Delicate sugared almond shades have shaken off their Hyacinth Bucket connotations and turned themselves into a fashion statement. They are pretty and powerful – withone-shouldered dresses and draped shapes in delicate shades of palest pink and green. The big news: lilac, the queen of shades, is set for a major comeback.

2. Checks are in

You think of checks as being strictly winter-only, but they’re making a convincing case for being spring’s ‘It’ print.

3. Dresses on shirt
While this trend started from slip dresses worn over simple t-shirts, we can wear this with all sorts of dresses over all types of shirts, from silk dresses worn over sporty shirts at Off-White to flowy dresses worn over leopard shirts. So have some fun this spring and mix and match your t-shirts, button downs and tops with your dresses for some new and exciting outfits!

4. Sheer dresses
Yes, you do need to be a bit bold to embrace this trend, but the good news is that there are all sorts of transparency and colors

5. Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits are going to be a staple item in our wardrobe this spring, and we can’t wait. There’s going to be one for every taste and body shape.

6. Denim on denim
Will denim ever not be a trend? Well, let’s just say this season it’s going to be even more of a trend. Think head to toe denim looks – literally.

7. Sportswear
This summer, rather than going out in your workout clothes, be more creative and mix and match them with the less sporty items in your closet!
