F.R.I.E.N.D.S – The best TV show

People love the show so much and keep coming back to it after all these years. The short answer is, not surprisingly, the nostalgia factor.

Having Friends on in the background becomes like the second nature. Once you finish it, it will be your go-to source of entertainment and laughter in all phases of your life. It will cheer you up after bad days and help you through bad breakups. Without fail, every episode will take you back to the first time you watched it, and fill you with a sense of calmness.

People love Friends because it’s real, but also because it’s not too real. No matter what, it always remains light hearted and funny; even the darkest of major life events are punctuated with a laugh.
That’s what a sitcom is supposed to be: a slightly exaggerated version of everyday life!

1.The Characters

The viewers relate to all of the characters in some way, as each character has their own funny moments that are unforgettable.

2.The Fashion

The highlights such as Ross’s leather trousers, Monica accessorising a turkey with novelty sunglasses, and obviously every single thing worn by pregnant Phoebe, especially the Santa pants.

3.The One Liners

PIVOT / We were on a BREAK/ Could I be wearing anymore clothes/ UNAGI/ My sandwich – are all still capable of making you cry with laughter.

4.Social Issues

The show presented the social issues in a funny way. Which other show in the 90s openly discussed gay relationships, and female sexual satisfaction?

5.Guest stars

It was interesting to see who was going to be guest starring. Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate, Sean Penn, Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Tom Selleck, Hugh Laurie and many more were on the list.

6.The storyline

The writing is great. Even though the show has aged a bit, there isn’t a time that you don’t laugh while watching the show. You will laugh and it won’t matter if you have watched a particular episode once, twice, or a hundred times.

7.Sarcasm and Weirdness

The sarcasm begins with Chandler Bing! Most of the dialogues of Chandler in the entire show are sarcasms! Phoebe Buffay is a bad-ass, shady free spirited woman, super animal lover who loves to sing and is often known as Regina Phalange at some places, it’s one of her secret identities. Weirdness at it’s best.
