Duration: 2 hours 19 minutes
A historical biopic movie, which will make you feel nostalgia. It will bring back every ounce of your childhood or teen hood memories. We all loved him, when he played and now watching his movie is heavenly for eyes.
Apart from using adjectives for God of Cricket, let’s talk about the movie. The director of movie James Erskine quoted ‘making this movie was very difficult, a simple mistake and we would have hurt trillions of heart’. It is true, nobody would like if something goes wrong with the movie.
Sachin Tendulkar himself is patronizing and narrating the story. It makes this movie more documentary than a Bollywood masala, but it justified. Less drama and nostalgia moments back to back makes you feel emotional as well at some points. Most of us know about him a lot but this movie will help you to understand his point of view. His bonding with his elder brother and his wife and children will be focused a bit. Background music with no Bollywood number is itself its USP. A.R.Rahman had done a hilarious job in the sector of music. He was able to create a persona and aura around him of god and a super human being.
Story starts with the glimpse of his childhood, teen hood desire as a cricketer, careers ups and downs. He explained few controversial things gracefully.
Stories narrated by his colleagues about him makes worth watching this movie.
Moreover you will be emotional after 2 hours and 19 minutes. May be Sachin hardcore fans would like to spend 3 or 4 times on this movie. Conclusion is, this movie is worth your time and money.
