Rare sight in Canada and massive Iceberg standing tall by the shores of Canadian town.
Canadian town Newfoundland and Labrador has a high profile visitor, massive iceberg on its shores. This has converted the community of Ferryland into the tourist hotspot.
This region of Canada is known for icebergs this season and which has caused major tourist attraction too. April season goes for iceberg and this iceberg is almost 15 stories high and that’s just 10 % of it’s mass.
If you want to know more, ‘Iceberg season’ starts in April and last year more than 615 icebergs have been spotted in the North Atlantic shipping lanes.
Surprisingly, these iceberg travel to the same, in which Titanic got struck in 1912 during April 14 and 15 and killing more than 1,500 people.
Apparently, Newfoundland consists of aboriginal people names Beothuk and they are Algonkian speaking hunters tribe, which is less than 1000 in numbers across whole Europe. They have secret method of living and hunting, which will be revealed in our next article.
