Movie Story: This movie is based in 80s where the main actor Lee ( Mike Vogel), is reporter and uses typewriter and pagers, instead of smartphones and laptops, which people use on this era. The story revolves when Lee and his wife Leslie (Erika Christensen) are at an eating place, then their daughter, Alison (Haley Rosenwasser), accidentally choked a candy in her throat and nearly dies but a nurse Alfie ( L.Scott Caldwell), who is eating nearby, miraculously comes and saves the child. It has been declared by Alfie that the nurse is sent by Jesus, to her, Lee on this statement reacted hopefully but was little sceptical also.
Alison, however doesn’t dismisses the divine intervention and accepts Alfie invitation to join her to the church, soon one thing leads to another.
Soon, Lee decides to discover the truth and faith and debunk Christianity by disapproving resurrection of Christ.
Vogel and Christensen are more than enough in the role and both individually and in tandem.
The movie is about faith and evidence for it without believing it without evidence or reason.
