1. FOOD
Priorities first- Food has to be the best thing that is present in Indian Weddings. In fact 90% of the people are there only for the amazing food that weddings offer. Not saying that other cultures don’t give you good food in their weddings, but man, the variety of cuisines and the number of dishes that you see in an Indian wedding is just unbeatable. 2. PHOTOSHOOTS
Indian weddings and photo shoot go hand in hand. With wedding shoots and pre-wedding photo shoots coming in trend sometimes it feels like the whole wedding shenanigans are happening for the pictures and not vice versa. At every nook and corner of an Indian wedding, all you hear is click click click.

3. STEALING GETS LEGIT
So there is an actual ritual in Indian weddings where the bride’s sisters steal and hide the groom’s shoes on the wedding day. The groom has to pay a big fat ransom to get his own shoes back. Well, it’s just fun and games but still, just imagine, we have an actual ritual that makes stealing and hiding a legit thing.

4. BARATI DANCE
We Indians like to do everything with pomp and show. Everything in an Indian wedding is loaded with extravaganza, there is this whole procession we take out and that is the most fun thing about weddings. Can you imagine, your uncle from the States dancing to the tunes of naagin dance, can you tell us anything more satisfying than that scene?
