Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO, is set to break all records by launching 103 satellites by Feb end; three of them are foreign satellites. The remarkable thing is that it is going to be launched through single rocket; it is not attempted by any other country before.
It looks like India is grabbing the larger slice of commercial space marketing, ISRO going to launch its satellite through their workhorse rocket PSLV – C37, in February from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The satellites also belongs to foreign nationals US and Germany.
According to S.Somnath, Director of Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) , “We are making century by launching 100 satellites at one go.”
On the similar lines late year ISRO launched 20 satellites and now the number has increased phenomenally.
The records set by Russia and US by launching 37 and 29 respectively.
It is a triumph for ISRO and India both.
